Grinds with excellent precision, low retention and no clumping. Grinder won’t grind directly into the portafilter without a dosing funnel and this made it difficult position. Not a problem for me personally as I single dose into a dosing cup which fits perfectly after adjustment of the lower arms. It should be noted that this grinder doesn’t grind by weight unlike the Fiorenzato All ground sense which is the same grinder without the Sanremo colour and branding. I opted for the Sanremo even though it was more expensive as the match to the look of my machine was a higher priority than grind by weight but if not then consider the Fiorebzato.
